Our 15th anniversary will be celebrated on September 20th in the evening at Sailfish Brewing Co. in downtown Fort Pierce. Make sure to save the date on your calendars, make babysitter plans in advance, do whatever it takes to be there. Let’s have the best turnout yet to celebrate 15 years of hard work, PRs, and community!


Atlantic Coast Classic

June 20-22 | Daytona, FL

Congratulations to all of the participants in this year’s ACC in Daytona, FL! It was an amazing event yet again, and you all made us proud to be a part of CFFP. Let’s start preparing for next year!


NEWS & REMINDERS

Summer Saturday Schedule

Our Summer Saturday Schedule is running very smoothly and will remain in place with classes at 7am & 8:30am. If the need arises to go back to a regular Saturday schedule, then we will do so and announce it on Zenplanner as well. Happy Summer!

Sign Up In Advance for Classes

Don’t forget to please sign up for classes early. Early sign-ups help tremendously in allowing our coaches to plan accordingly and make your experience amazing, each and every time.

For our typically smaller classes, please remember that classes can be canceled due to a lack of sign ups. Also remember that our early morning classes will cancel if people are not signed up the evening before.

Clean Habits Build Strong Values

Friendly reminder for everyone to do their part to keep the gym tidy and clean. There are several wipe containers throughout the gym, so please be sure to wipe down equipment and put it back in its place when done. Parents, thank you for doing your part in leaving the club room tidy and clean for the next set of kids. Thank you to all for your efforts in building strong values through clean habits!

Run Club

Join the Run Club every Tuesday at 6pm at Sailfish. You don’t need to be an expert runner! Everyone goes at their own pace down a similar route from Avenue A to the bridge and back. It is a choose your own adventure run/walk, if you’d like to run all three miles, awesome! If you are just starting and want to walk a mile, great! When you're finished, Run Club meets back at Sailfish to grab a beverage for a discount. There is also a punch system depending on how many visits you can get things like free beer, t-shirts, and more.

Find a partner and sign up for the local competition at Halpatiokee Park on October 4th. Your participation directly supports the Martin County Police Athletic League, making a difference in the lives of young athletes. Let’s have our best CFFP representation yet this year!


Athlete of the Month

Hailee Nyhuis

This month’s Athlete of the Month is the colorful, hard-working, motivated, quiet (but fierce) Hailee Nyhuis. You can usually find her putting in the work at the 4:30 class. She always makes time to get her workout in and is laser focused, both in and out of the gym, on being consistent and counting her macros. She’s kicked up her effort a few notches over the past month and it shows in her results. Her personal highlights this past month was getting her first handstand hold and a 205lb Deadlift PR. Keep up the great work Hailee!!!

FITNESS CHALLENGE

JULY | KIPPING PULL-UPS (UNBROKEN)

This month’s fitness challenge is to see how many unbroken kipping pull-ups you can get. If you’ve never done one, now’s your chance to get a few by the end of the month. If you’ve been working on them, challenge yourself and see how much progress you can make in just one month. If you’re already proficient, then push your own limits or make this your motivation to move on to learning the butterfly pull-up.
